  VisionFund Credo Foundation was established in January 2005 as the continuation of World Visions ‘Georgian Entrepreneurs Fund’ (WV/GEF). This microfinance program was started in 1997 after the completion of a small enterprise education program. Since 2002, WV/GEF has expanded rapidly, with annual growth rates as high as 100%. CREDO started operations per April 1 2005 after changes in the law made it possible to register as a Micro Finance Organization (MFO)

CREDOs main goal is creating a strong and financially sustainable institution which will reinvest its profit into additional loan capital which will help in fulfilling its mission and vision
